The airshow is not too far from us, in West Milford, NJ.
In addition to the actual airshow, there are display aircraft, a car show, and World War II reenactors that set up camp that can be photographed prior to the start of the show.

Orange County Arboretum
Located in Thomas Bull Memorial Park on Grove street, just off of route 416 near Orange County Airport. This is a great place to photograph flowers spring, summer and fall. There is always something in bloom.

This one is across the river in Cold Spring. Wildlife and wild flowers abound.
